Family Tribes

With the holidays coming to a close as Christmas has now past, as we look forward to the end of 2018. For some it could be bad and they can't wait for the new year to begin. For others, it could be they don't want to see it end because they are having the time of their lives. And depending where you fall on the political spectrum. Well, what can I say? You either support the president or you don't, there is no in-between. You are either for him or against Trump, however you want to look at it. Before my mom passed away in 2007, my siblings regressed to their individual tribes. Starting with my eldest brother who I just recently discovered through my other brothers' wife that he passed away four years ago and the only ones who attended his funeral were his oldest son and my other brothers wife. My oldest brother wanted nothing to do with any family members, so he chose to distance himself from the rest of the family. But he wasn't alone as my oldest sister

Last Chance Hotel Room 871 & Room 873

Room 871 & Room 873 By James C. Garland Grandpa Donaldson was looking forward to this trip. It had been a long time since he was able to take a vacation with all the long hours he put in as a Locomotive Engineer for the Northern Pacific. And he had not been to this part of the country in a long spell. Grandpa Donaldson needed this vacation going back as far as he could remember as he kept putting off a vacation for many years. But he wasn't getting any younger and it wouldn't hurt to take time off. After all Grandpa Donaldson not only felt he needed it but he deserved it. All that was left was to arrange to hitch a ride with a company train as far south as he could go, then rent a car as he got closer to his destination to where he wanted to spend time with relatives and old friends he had not seen in years. In fact, one of his friends was an old cowboy named "Buckaroo". "Buckaroo" spent most of his time working at the local theater as an assist

Lucky Man

Image
Lucky Man By James C. Garland Looking out over the hills in the distance and wondering what things will be like that the King is dead now? How can a child be expected to rule where his father left off? It keeps running through my mind. What and where will all of this lead to? Only moments ago the King took his last breath as his son and daughter were by his side. At least they were there when he needed them most. I have been honored over the years to be the Captain of his army. Knowing he bestowed that honor on me in the year of the Lion. The year of the Lion when we were a peaceful kingdom and had no enemies. But all that has changed now with the greediness of the neighbors from the North. The Invaders who take what they want and leave nothing but destruction in their evil path and leaving death behind where ever they go. And now they are heading this way according to the message that was sent from a friend in the kingdom beyond a week ago. We have been warned at least

Making A Difference KLAMATH FALLS, OR— EUREKA! I found it, the pot of gold I discovered something that was right in front of me for years but I kept just overlooking or not even thinking about it until now. What made me think about was trying to do videos on my movie idea, "Lucky Man" that I wrote when I was just 19 years old. And through the years it has just sat collecting dust. As I would need a major amount of money or budget to produce my vision of it. Way out of my neighbor of being able to produce it less well in anyway right now filming it, and not with video but with the film. So it has just sat along with the rest of my plays I have written over the years. The last straw that broke the camels back, as they say, was with the last video I was working on to upload for promo four on YouTube. When I got a notice as I usually do from YouTube. on a copyright notice. Hi TheRealRocks4me, Due to a copyright claim, your YouTube video has been blocked

Alturas, CA— "On September 17, 1938: Two deer hunters met death in Modoc County. Mrs. Barbara Thompson (O'Malley) of Malin, OR was fatally shot near Higrade, New Pine Creek. She had gone hunting with her husband, Lester Thompson and a friend John Stewart, also of Malin, OR. Officials said Stewart mistook Mrs. Barbara Irene Thompson (O'Malley) for a deer and fired the fatal shot. Her body was taken to Klamath Falls, OR. Authorities attributed the other casualty, W.O. Vincent of Santa Rosa, to a heart attack." To Continue: Ok. How old was your mom when her parents got divorced. ?. I'm trying to understand (who) Barbara was- an "if" she was murdered- Why. ?. Why did my grandfather shoot himself in the head ?. I think he had a guilty conscience... A lot of evil is surrounding this situation... My mom was 9 years old according to the paper I read last night. That would make it about 1933. And yeah as my Aunt Jene said, &qu
