Well, here we go again for a third trip to Salem looking for housing in Salem, Oregon.

This was my 6th trip on Amtrak, the first was to Portland, Oregon in September 2023. Amtrak late on arrival to Portland, Oregon on September 21, 2023 https://tulelakenews.blogspot.com/2023/09/amtrak-late-on-arrival-to-portland.html

And my third trip Homeless in Chico, California in 1999 on June 28, 2024 https://tulelakenews.blogspot.com/2024/06/homeless-in-chico-california-in-1999.html

Then Salem 3 times looking for a new place to live as I wanted to move before the election, but it did not go as planned. Oh, well such is life as they say.

And now twice to Eugene for a total of 8 Amtrak train rides and the next one bought and paid for is for next year on Jan 11, 2025.

And the rest will be history.

Coming soon tours from Klamath Falls Oregon on Amtrak train number 14 north to Eugene with a 4 to 5 layover for a quick tour in Eugene of all the attractions Eugene has to offer.

Then catch the return trip back to Klamath Falls on the Amtrak train number 11 south.

ALL ABOARD!

The third trip to Salem was interesting too.

As I had a motel room for two days this time at the Home Town Studios Redroof for two nights. And the plan was to spend some time looking around the area where I was checking into getting a tour of a Studio Apartment at the same place as before, at the Willamette Estates at 12 PM for a tour of a studio apartment this time to see if I could make a deal on the two weeks free rent and no deposit.

What a great deal is what I was thinking at the time and a big step up compared to where I am living in the cock roach infested apartment located at the Grandview located at 321 N 5th Street.

Where I still live and not going to try to find anything until spring now. Allot of waisted time and money making all the trips to Salem and this was my third and
